Weight & Lifestyle Clinic
A medically supervised, six-month programme to lose weight, reverse fatty liver and lower your diabetes risk — without crash diets.
OVERVIEW
Sustainable change, medically guided
Weight is not just about willpower. Thyroid problems, medicines, sleep, stress and insulin resistance all play a part. The programme starts with a full medical assessment and body-composition analysis, so your plan addresses the actual causes.
Together with our clinical nutritionist, you set realistic monthly goals and build a food, activity and sleep routine that fits your work and family life. Where appropriate, Dr. Rao discusses evidence-based medicines that support weight loss.

QUESTIONS
Weight & lifestyle clinic FAQs
How much weight will I lose?
A safe, sustainable pace is 0.5–1 kg a week. Most patients aim to lose 5–10% of their body weight over six months — enough to improve sugar, blood pressure and fatty liver.
Do you prescribe weight-loss medicines?
Where medically appropriate, and after a full assessment, Dr. Rao will discuss current evidence-based options — their benefits, costs and side effects.
Is there a special diet I have to follow?
No fad diets. Your plan is built around the food you already eat at home, adjusted for portions and balance.
