Diabetes Care
Diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of type 1, type 2 and prediabetes — with the goal of keeping you well, not just lowering a number.
OVERVIEW
Personal, structured diabetes management
Diabetes is a long journey, and it is easier with a plan you understand. At your first visit Dr. Rao reviews your sugar readings, HbA1c and medicines, screens for early complications, and agrees targets with you.
Treatment may include tablets, newer medicines that also protect the heart and kidneys, or starting insulin — always explained step by step. Our clinical nutritionist builds a meal plan around the food you actually eat, and we review your progress every three months.

QUESTIONS
Diabetes care FAQs
How often will I need to visit?
Every three months while we adjust your treatment, then every three to six months once your sugars are stable. Many reviews can be done by teleconsultation.
Can diabetes be reversed?
Some people with early type 2 diabetes can bring their sugars back into the normal range with weight loss and lifestyle change. Dr. Rao will tell you honestly whether that is realistic for you.
Do you start insulin at the clinic?
Yes. We teach injection technique, dose adjustment and how to handle low sugars, with WhatsApp support during the first weeks.
